Seasons of Light

Welcome to the Summer edition of the Serenity Times. Our theme for Summer’s issue is “Seasons of Light.” Summer brings us long hours of the sun’s light, reminiscent of seasons in our recovery when a new level of honesty reveals the light of a new truth that fosters growth, or when moments of clarity spark the light of a spiritual awakening. Inside, you’ll find reflections on topics related to clarity, honesty, seasons of light, and spiritual awakenings.

You’ll also find our regular features, including Sounds of Serenity audio shares that answer the question, “What is my understanding of a spiritual awakening, and have I experienced one in my recovery?” Finally, you’ll find our Summer clean-time anniversaries, celebrating the courage and continued growth within our fellowship.

If you have a clean date for our Autumn issue (September 22nd to December 14th) and haven’t entered it on the website yet, you can do so by scrolling down on the webpage to Recovery Birthdays, then, directly under the dates listed there, click on the link at the bottom that says View All/Add Yours and fill out the online form.

We are always looking for new contributions that help carry the NA message—whether articles, reflections, poetry, artwork, or photography (no faces or identifiable people, please).
